2nd custom: USB Rage

vidmouse Wednesday, 9/12/2012

My wife got me an "Ultra Rage" as part of her anniversary gift to me this year.
I like it but it's definitely not one of my fastest cars, so I felt free to modify it.
De-capped it, then carved out the innards to make room for my 4 GB USB stick's
circuit board. Even oriented it so that the USB light shines through the rear window.

Funny thing was, on my original USB stick, the light didn't have a window to shine
through, so I didn't know there was one! hah.

Used some hot glue to help reseal it. Had to put some on the bottom sides as
the rear rivet peg had to be carved out to make room for the circuit board.

Nice. I made a few Hot Wheels USB drives late last year and put them on Etsy...sold out quick! Wasn't a bad way to make a little extra Xmas spending cash.

I just wish I had some time to make some more!
