a couple of race ideas...

With Toy Fair approaching, my schedule is going to be kinda crazy for the next month or so...so I wanted to put down a couple ideas, while I was thinking about it.

"All that Glitters" - Cars built in the '50's...Smitty  mentioned a tri-5 series. But, how about a race open to the cars of the '50's...and they have to be convertibles.

"Fiberglass Thrash" -a race open to Corvettes (any era), Cobras and Vipers. The original Cobras were steel, but they were intended to be Corvette killers...and Vipers kinda fit the same mold.

"Drag Week" - I'm thinking about doing something in the Fall, around the time of Drag Week. If you don't know about it, it is 5 races in 5 days, and the cars are driven from race to race...I'm working on how I'll do it still.

Let me know what you think :)

All good ideas, I like them. Make 'em heavy though, 75g limit would be fun!

  • i say no on heavy... where do you put the lead in a convertible — model40fan
  • I'm leary about going over about 60-65g with my drap track starter — 72_Chevy_C10
  • I've ran my 100g Honda Spocket on Dragtracks multiple times here and no harm has been done — KandORacing
  • At that weight you could take your eye out...:) — Stroller
  • I have trouble with the gate releasing properly at 65grams...it's rather cheaply put together...no sense pushing my luck — 72_Chevy_C10
  • I used to have trouble with that with mine, regarding heavy cars--before it broke and we had to find another alternative. — FOTF
  • I used to have to--say, on 100g Chevy Vans--push the pin down so that it was resting around the license plate. Don't know how C4 does it. — FOTF
