 mid mill is a 1932 to 1934 ford truck cab... midnight otto is a 1932 ford sedan...

cut the visor from Mid Mill about 1/16" back from the factory "line"...

cut the header from the midnight otto, cut it close to the windshield, you can always file it later...

before ;

heat the w/s posts with a candle, carefully bend the w/s posts to vertical with needle nose plyers...

      after ;

file the hacksaw slot with a small file...

file the visor's rearward edge...

file JB grooves into both of the mating surfaces... gravity fit mock-up;

JB Quick the visor to the roof, use a little extra JB  as bondo on the roof's surface...

cut the horizontal slots with the hacksaw...

with a tiny screw driver, gently pry the strips of hood front to back, snap them off one by one, file the hood sides, grill back and cowl...

file the lower section of a '55 gasser's mill ;

3 strips of lead roof flashing as engine spacers ;

Awesome how-to Smitty!  I've got to keep some of those tips in mind should I ever break out the hack saw.

Nice job on the car too!
