'Burn Notice' Custom Charger

vidmouse Tuesday, 9/11/2012

Love this show, wanted to make a Dodge Charger to match.
I have a 71 Dodge Charger which I've paint stripped so far
but now I'm noticing that the actual car has an air grabber hood
which the 71 doesn't have... any ideas on how to make one/mod one?

i think the hood option on the burn car is one piece... most of the hot wheels mopars i checked were two piece... but '67 baracuda's is one piece...cut the fenders and save the hood on the cuda....cut the hood save the fenders on the burn car... j.b.weld the new hood in...file n' sand... you may be charged a "phee" !

Technically I think it's a '69 Six Pack scoop...anyway, the Barracuda that Smitty is talking about is the only recent readily available Hot Wheels with the similar scoop. (That I know of)

I just got a '71 Hemi Cuda, I might try to mod that.
Or, I might just forgive the scoop and live without it and
just paint.

Stay tune-d

That 'Cuda hood scoop looks pretty close.

Finished the paint on this... it's not a perfect match but as my first HW custom
I think it came out ok. Ended up using spray black on the body and spray
yellow, then hand-painted cream on the interior.

Fast as my other Charger, but not as fast as my Nerve Hammer...

Not many are.
