Car stocks

I watched the Facebook episode of South Park last night and Cartman does this parody of the "Mad Money" stocks show and gave me a little idea...car stocks.

My initial thought was using a car's rating as the variant. You get or "buy" cars and they would earn more value as their rating went up, and lose it going down. Players would have a certain number of cars allowed in their portfolio and they could buy/sell them at any time...car day trading, kinda sorta.

Maybe this type of concept could be rolled into the wager feature of next year's big update? So all your "earned" points would be managed through one part of the game rather than a different mechanism for each thing.
