Circuit season for the winter?

There's only a few weeks left in the current season and then we typically take the winter off and come back in the spring (it gets too cold here in Ohio to race). But I was thinking that with all the host tracks associated with the game, if there would be any interest in a all-circuit season?

It would follow the usual format for a season and tournaments but all brackets would be raced on host tracks - no Ohio track tournaments. There would be no prizes for the season. I would still organize the tournaments and manage the seeding/results and get forms to the hosts.

I'm thinking this would run in Jan/Feb after the holidays, possibly a fast season with more than 2 tournaments per week if hosts are willing to handle it.

Otherwise, after this season we'd go on break until March/April and come back for Season 12 with more prizes and (hopefully) team play for everyone.

Thoughts?

I would continue to play if the brackets were available each week. I'm also working on getting a decent camera so I can become a track host(I already have the drag track equipment).

You don't need a camera to be a host...unless you're meaning it to be your finish line? If you have a normal finish line and a starting gate, that's all you need to qualify.

I think he meant for photographing his cars.

Well, even then...not a requirement to be a host

But if there's interest in a circuit league to fill the usual "off season" break then it's all about getting enough hosts to join in.

If you have a track and cars and meet the requirements otherwise, and you have time to run up to three 16-car tournaments during the week, please comment below. We'll need at least 6 host tracks. If we get enough people then I'll work up a schedule and we'll start planning.

I would love to, but I can only race on the weekends of December 22/23 and 29/30th before I head back off to college. Let me know if this will work or not

I was thinking about this more and I think I need a little break come the winter, so lets put off the circuit season until later next year. Sorry...didn't mean to get anyone excited and then renig. I was worried the time off might kill some League momentum but I think I need to that time to a) take a breath and b) it will also give me time to make updates to the game without risking any stats.

So after Season 11 we'll be in the off-season until at least March. Thankfully there are plenty of mail-in tournaments going on so there won't be any shortage of racing action
