Diecast car rivalries?
I was watching the Devils/Rangers game this week (yay Devils!) and they were talking about their long lasting rivalry and started thinking about diecast racing rivalries. Yes, I think there are some, at least if you ask me. After racing dozens of cars week after week, I start seeing the same cars ending up facing each other and I find that I often root for the underdog...or at least the car I've seen less.
Anyone else caught themselves thinking about this? Maybe it's just because of all the playoff action in real sports going on, but I think they can exist in toys too.
Or better yet...are there any rivalries between league players? Oooooo....

when i first started i pretty much was buying Camaro's and Vettes. but what actually fueled my now obsession with the downhill is that I bought one crappy mustang because my daughter liked the color of it. So we raced them and SOB the mustang beat everything i had! and i was like this has to be a fluke.....went and got some more stangs of various types......SOB they were all beating my beloved camaro's and vettes. Then i went and bought a nice green FTE ZR1 Vette....it finally took out those dirty mustangs.
thats my biggest rivalry so far.
Hahaha it's funny you bring it up, I got my dad (cliffordshaw) into the league and as much as we help eachother by giving eachother tips and advice, we're eachothers biggest rivals. Although I'd love to finish this season ahead of some of the veterans of redlinederby like iowastockcars, jdc 442 racing, and Bryan himself!
