Drag Tracks / Expert Racers Question

bikerguy58 Saturday, 10/22/2016

Hello New guy here.

Am I to understand there are 2 versions of the drag tracks set? On one of them you can flick a switch where one pedal will release both cars. If so does anyone know the model number for this set and where to buy it?

Thanks!

Drag tracks will work well..for a while. But they are rather cheaply made and you will, eventually have trouble with the pinsdroppING to release the cars. But, I do.think the Drag tracks track sections are the best surface to race on.

Oh, I should say 'Welcome' too!

welcome bikerguy, you should find what you want here...

DT track is narrower at the lower end of each section, this stops seam hang ups... ditto on the starter pins...

both DT styles [blue] have the one player switch... but the newest [think it is red] has a switch that removes the reaction time letting you and your calculater time the cars...

you can buy a TRACK PACK,  [4] 20" sections of DT  from summit racing, on sale $16, reg. price $20...

good starters can be had through our members... ask around, see what they have and what you want...

the right finish line is the toughest to find... electric, manual reset, batteries, wires, accuracy, quality...

i think 3DBOT is the cost/benefit leader... i have a micro wizzard, works perfect but it is pricey...

IMO... if you intend to host a bunch of races, i recomend a finish that times the cars, then if one lane is a little faster, average the times instead of racing them till one wins in both lanes as with a timeless finish...
