Fact or fiction? Ferrari Testarossa
In light of the Land Rover discussion, thought it would be interesting to get insight on some of the cars that lead the top of the old Fantasy League rankings. Most of the League cars ran on a very limited number of tracks so the data isn't very deep but it's the best I have to go on and still a reference point I use when choosing a fast base model car.
So lets look at the top ranked car in the League, the Ferrari Testarossa

What's your experience with this car?
Is it one of the faster cars you've seen? Overrated or underrated?
Worth seeking out for a spot in your own elite team of racers?

There's only a few releases of the Testarossa that I have heard of being fast, one of them being Gold Medal Speed with the ultra hots style wheels. But not having any fast ones straight out of the blister I'm kind of on the fence about Testarossas.
Have a black one just like the one in the pic, it was rusted out and axles bent yet stupid fast, have a red one with UHs on it, an absolute bullet
I have two with the basic old school black wall five spoke. The ones designed with non pointy insides so as much of the wheel rubs against the car as possible. All metal, red with bare metal underside and all black including black painted underside. Neither are fast...in fact, they are notably slow.
Wheels matter.
Edit - found another, severe front end damage, it looks like it was part of many demolition derbies, all red, red painted base, the two wheels that spin, spin well. Might have been fast one day long ago.
