Factory Wars {A NEW MAIL-IN}
~JUST A NOTICE FOR EVERYONE~We aren't going to set a number restriction on entrants, we'd love for everyone who wants to, to be able to participate. Looking at the numbers (16 entrants so far with 5 cars ea/) were sitting on 80 cars! With maybe more to come!
This is going to be a ton of work if we keep the RNL method, along with the videos we love to produce.
So everyone, just know that the format of the racing COULD change from now until even race-day. It shouldn't concern you guys too much, just build fast cars..., and you should be set
Thanks!
(we may even be implementing 4 laned races...)
What about open track racing
What about open track racing
Thats something I havent considered, from what I've heard from the masses... people are concerned about the roughing up that goes hand in hand with open track racing. If people are gonna mod 5 beautiful cars, they dont like to see them damaged. I cant lie and say things dont happen, cause they do. I dont think it will happen for this series, possibly for a future one.
Thanks for making that clear. Knowing if open track racing is in the line-up would definitely determine the quality of cars sent.

Thank you, thank you verrry much!
I think the format will be something along the lines of both Team and Individual, similar to gymnastics in the Olympics.
We will hold the All-Around team competition.
All Chevys race in a tournaments against one another, the same goes for all the other groups.
Points will be awarded based on finish...
1st= 20 points
2nd= 18 points
3rd= 16 points
4th= 14 points
5th= 12 points
...and so on down to 10th= 2 points
Across the 5 groups, the team will collect points to determine a winner. Top 3 will win medals (prizes)
Then we'll have the Individual Round. All the cars will race tournament style, most like double elimination to get the top 3 overall medal (prize) winners.
A 6 part event, 5 for the All-Around and 1 final individual events.
Sound good?
Can the weight limit be 100g? Please? I really want to send my Oshkosh Snow plow. Would love to run that bad boy in an open track race! muahahhaha!

Were NOT running open track for this series. Strictly Drag.
If you wanna send it anyway I'll put it on the track against some of my cars and post the video for you
Thank you, thank you verrry much!
I take it you're not a fan of the open track racing.

Well, Carl didn't do well compared to usual in the LeMans Challenge, which was mainly open track.
