E.T. Racing and I made the news…local paper interviewed us at a Hot Wheels trade show. After the interviewer was done asking questions, and had walked away. ET said; Dad we’re celebrities now…we’re going to be famous! Ha-Ha! Youth! I wish they had used a different photo, he had taken some photos of my son haggling and paying for a car….but hey…it is what it is…
If you have the chance to visit one of these local shows I can’t recommend it enough. Great people and great deals! And if you are a kid….you clean up .Where I paid $2bucks to enter, he got to choose 3 Hot wheels just for showing up. My son spent $4 and left with 15 cars 8 of which were gifted treasure hunts…he also ended up winning a door prize…he picked the Ecto-1 Ghostbuster car.

Yeah, most of the collectors I talk to look at me weird when I say I race and modify cars....most of those guys never even open the packages...I have discussed taking my track up to the next show and letting kids race for the fun of it....again some weird looks. Good group of people overall and we all share in the hobby our own way...

I collect and modify/race cars at the same time, some collectors are like me and don't worry, others freak out when they see a simple Treasure Hunt going down the track. Don't get me wrong, Treasure Hunts are fun to find, but they're not as rare as people think.
GO... ET RACING... GO !... STACK 'EM UP...
