Fastest 'Top shelf' cars

Being that we're already evaluating newer castings for racing potential in separate topics, I thought I'd begin a new topic for older, more elusive diecast vehicles. The term 'Top shelf' refers to ANY casting that has a higher-than-normal perceived value due to its age or production status or is widely considered to be hard-to-find. A good, common example might be the JL BWF Camaro, which isn't exactly "scarce" but has an inflated value due to its reputation for outstanding performance. Of coarse, any original Redline would also qualify. But please be specific...eg: markkaz's über fast Noodlehead is a prime example. Also, this topic is not limited to Mattel products. Any diecast mfr is welcome.
