How would you mod it? Stagefright

A few years back a co-worker gave me his collection of old cars, mostly late-70s and early-80s original castings. They were the cars from his childhood and it showed...lots of wear and tear, some of them even painted. So for this series of articles, I'll be taking a "vintage" car from the stash and asking you the question...how would you mod it?

Stagefright

To call Stagefright a classic is an understatement and it's a car that only got better with time. This is one of the few castings I remember having a kid and while I loved playing with it, it always kind of confused me. I understood that it was a play on an old stage coach but when compared to my Sol-Aire or Alien, it just didn't compete. But that was then...

As I've grown up, I have much more appreciation for Stagefright. I still think it's an ugly color but converting a stage coach into a hot rod is pure genius. The fact this car is pretty minimal could make it a challenging mod but I think any modern wheels you add to it will only enhance its looks. I'm not sure how much weight you could squeeze into the back but I guess that's a no-brainer. I wonder what adding even bigger wheels to the back would do...and maybe little tiny wheels on the front...go total dragster.

But that's just me...how would you mod it?
