Idea: Hollywood cars tournament

It's probably bad to throw out ideas when I'm not in a position to participate or host, but seeing the Blues Brothers reference on another article had me thinking that a Hollywood Tournament would be fun to see.

This would NOT be sending in the cars that are already casted as TV/movie cars but making your own and then sending them in. For example, you couldn't enter the 66' Batmobile that Mattel releases...you have to make your own custom to look like the Batmobile without using an actual Batmobile.

I know a lot of movie cars are just standard cars, like Bullitt's Mustang, but even then I think if the restriction is you can't send in the licensed car and have to make your own, it would work. Imagine trying to make the Bullitt Mustang without using a Mustang as base! The results should be incredibly entertaining...much like when I added some cardboard to my 1986 Cavalier, turning it into a Batmobile for Halloween one year.

If someone wants to run with this and make it a thing, that'd be great. Or if schedules are full (and looks like they are going into the holiday season), we can back-burner this and hit it up next year...by then I will hopefully have my track up and could even host.
