#Instagram

Being the technodufus that is me, I have only recently starting wandering around the vast land called "Instagram".

For some reason, my phone won't download the app, and since that is all I use out here on the road, I'm kinda stuck.

I'm not able to search for #'d stuff, only click on links under photos.

I've never seen a #redlinederby link...

(((Please, keep in mind, I cannot search Instagram, so if there is something I'm not seeing there because of this fact, kindly disregard this rant. Sank you verdy much.( as Latka from Taxi would say))))

Ummmm why not?

There's like a brazilion customizers out there. After all, isn't that what this community does? We customize cars that have a purpose. To race!

I gotta tell ya... We sure love to take photo's of our cars don't we?

We are proud of them, right?

We want to spread the word and grow right?

Wouldn't be be cool to start posting our ( some VERY AWRSOME builds I might add) if not ALL our racers on Instagram??

I'm on there, but I have no ability to post. I can comment and follow, but no posts.

C10 is on there.

We should all be on there.

Spreading the word on #RedLineDerbyAwareness

Who's with me here?

Instagram has been a hard egg for me to crack. Part of that are the photos, since I don't take many photos of cars. Second, is the hashtag thing...I just have a hard time buying into it but it works, both Twitter and Instagram have proven that.

I've started to follow a lot of diecast people on Instagram just because I love to see the photos of cars and customs. I don't do many of my own customs so I don't post much on the official RLD Instagram. Best I've hoped for is swapping follows with the guys that do create stuff and maybe they'll come visit the site. I need to post more photos when I host races, it's just hard to cram everything in with a one-man operation.

The #redlinederby hashtag is alive and well so everyone that's on Instagram, please use it when you post a photo. Instagram is definitely more about connecting people than it is owning all the views, which is different strategy than normal (well, normal for being an old tech person).
