Welcome to a new season of Fantasy League racing! You'll see 2 tournaments have been posted to open this weekend with 2 more getting posted tonight (hopefully). For league vets, there's nothing new you need to know...you know the drill. For new players and members to Redline Derby Racing, here is a quick overview of how to play in the Fantasy League.

Tournaments are posted on the League site each week, with each tournament having two stages: Car Entry and Bracket Picks

When a tournament opens, players can select a car from the League collection to race in the tournament. This is completely optional. If you don't get to enter a car, don't worry. But if you do enter a car and it wins the tournament, you'll get extra bonus points. There are only 16 slots available in each tournament and it's first-come, first-served so if you don't make it in one tournament, just try again the following week.

Once there are 16 cars entered in the tournament, the bracket will get seeded (by me) and then the Bracket Picks stage will begin.

Bracket picking is just what it sounds like (and works just like March Madness)...you pick the cars you think will win each race of the tournament all the way up to the champion. Every player can submit bracket picks, whether they entered a car or not...just make sure you submit your picks before the deadline.

The results of the tournament will be posted on the date shown and everyone will receive any points they've earned along with any achievements they happened to unlock along the way.

That's it! Very easy and quick to play. New tournaments will get posted every week and the player with the most points at the end of the season (17 races) will be declared season champ and win the grand prize.

If you have any questions, please post in this forum. For more details about scoring or achievements, check out the official rules.

Good luck and happy racing!!
