Lots of racing coming in 2016...
With Brian's Pro Series and LJLRC hosting a Mod race every month, there are two year-long race series coming in 2016. Not to mention, the DCR races will be going on and the Maryland Downhill races.
With all that going on, it's a great chance for all the RLD guys to show what good racers are on here. I look forward to seeing how we all do!
I'm planning on building cars for the Pro Series, the LJLRC and for DCR. But we'll have to see if I have time for the monthly series races, here on RLD.
Good luck with your builds, RLD Racers...let's show everyone how it's done!

Indeed! There's lots of racing going on, INCLUDING all of the monthly series that happen on here! I encourage everyone to host races...it's really the best way to see how other racers are building there cars!
I will probably be picking and choosing a little more this year, when it comes to the monthly races. But, there are races that I definitely won't miss!
Even though there is a ton of racing happen with various clubs/sites (including ours), if you have an idea for a mail-in tournament, always start a thread - don't let all the other racing scare you away. The super series happening here and in Rhode Island might not be everyone's bag so we still want to see all the creative one-off races happening here.
I probably won't be entering any of the year-long mod series (even our own Pro Series), I just don't have the time - but if the right theme comes along, I'll do my best to join - for example, the Beetle Bash this year. I'm not a pro racer so I tend to pick-n-choose. Things like the Bare Muscle, Haulers, RipRollers and others are great tournaments that are uniquely RLD so I hope they continue to happen every year.
On side note, I'm still figuring out the best way to get tiny car stickers printed with small RLD logos that you can add to your car if you want to denote your RLD affiliation on your car. I'll post when I have them and will send them out to anyone that wants them.
