Noodlehead VS Noodlist

The Hot Wheels Redline Noodlehead is one
of the fastest Hot Wheels around. Mattel
reissued it recently but with the name
"Noodlist". Let's see how the new one
fairs against the old timer!

Wrong video link! I did find it in the similar videos though. Interesting comparison! I was very tempted to get that Noodlist when i saw it, but it was kind of expensive so I didn't bite.

I think the original "Noodlehead" was 100% metal(except for the interior)...did Mattel 'cheap-out' on the "Noodlist" with a plastic engine or base? They look pretty, but it certainly won't buy you any extra momentum.

If you click on the list of videos, it's right there.

That is a good looking track Mattel has. I love the start gate.

Please allow me to clarify something...I do commend Mattel for nice looking car though.

I'm pretty sure that the Noodlist (reissue) has a metal base
but I will double-check in a few days. This should be the link
to my video:

Thanx, markkaz. I watched your vid again and that exposed engine & base appear to be awefully *shiny*. Did Mattel decide to chrome-dip some of their metal parts?

The HWC website claims that its "Full-metal, polished-chrome-plated chassis, engine and pipes." Although I do agree, based on the video the chrome looks a lot like the cheap plastic stuff they use on the mainlines.

...nice!

Thanks for the clarification, WorpeX.
