Odd Perks w/ diecast
You guys ever get anything back from playing with your cars?
http://www.ljlrc.com/ That's me in the white shirt in the center pic and a little more impressive is my induction to the Diecast Hall of Fame next month. I'm pretty damned stoked about that!!! I know how some of the nominations go, so I was keeping it quiet until I was really sure about it. Here's the link http://www.diecasthall.com/announcement ... 2-updated/ I'm all the way at the bottom, but I still get a ring!
Lets hear some of your fun stories.

Congrats! You deserve it!
job well done, v.j., wait till i tell fred's grammom that he will be racing a "diecast hall of famer" ...
boys, we have hit the big time !
The thing I get back from playing with my cars is other people actually using and enjoying something I've created...this site!
Congrats again on the HoF. And is the ring so big and obnoxious that it demands respect?! Encrusted with jewels from around the world.

It damn well better be!
LOL, I really don't care... I just like to have fun with the races and watch the fun when a bunch of people get together. It's always fun to meet new people.

we won't see jason's parade wave, or ride along with his motorcade, but we CAN imagine his _ _ _ _ eating grin !
Cool deal Jason, congrats!
Very cool!
Congrats Jason!
I have no stories to tell, unless you count the fun I've had since meeting the guys here. That and driving my old Econoline 500 miles round trip (twice) to race with the fine folks in Austin.
