PSA: Unlocking achievements gets you points

Those that have been playing the game for a while don't need to be reminded about achievements, probably because they have unlocked many of them, but newer players might not know of all the extra points floating around in the game. There are more than 700 points available to unlock.

Achievements in the Fantasy League work like ones you'd find in other video games...they aren't necessary to have fun or even be a winner, but they help...and they don't hurt your racing ego either. In fact, many achievements you can unlock just by playing the game week after week, they happen naturally, but some require a little extra effort...and some luck.

Achievement bonus points are added to your season score. You'll also get the license plate trophy added to your player profile so everyone will know just how awesome you are.

And even though this is the last racing season of the year, any achievements and trophies you earn will be carried over into the 2012 season...of course, there will be many new achievements added next year for everyone to chase as well.
