Red Neck Derby
One of our car clubs finally held their annual diecast race. We met at the Finish Line dinner and raced on their Whitesboro Raceway.
Trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places and my pay it forward on behalf of GspeedR's RAOK. Thanks again!
The house was down to 5 cars for the Friday night racers!
The race winners. Lady on the left has won 3 years in a row now! With the same Buick Wildcat concept car. They claim they have only graphited the wheels and the rivets are intact - I checked last year! Mrs Fox took 2nd place this year. With thanks to Keith from K & O Racing for the W 2 Fast RAOK. My friend won 3rd place with our borrowed F-150. He had placed 2nd last year.

I didnt do any tuning with it either...had you done anything? It was in the bottom 24-36 on the HW 6 lane, but was the fastest car of all on the Smittsburg Dragtrack set up!
Next year it will be outfitted with FTE 1s, polished axles and graphite - maybe next year we can beat the Wildcat!
flat ramp track ... the drag tracks "track packs" are $15.99, and include [4] 20" sections,
summit racing, [2] track packs = 160" ... 15' 4" for $30.00....smooth surface, no seam or transfer problems, packs away easy.
That would make a nice simple track layout for a very low cost!
They do have the starting gate, launchers and extra track pieces that came with the custom built ramp, but it is to complicated for the kids to use on Friday nights with the staging and tree sequence - to many red lights!
They use a wooden ruler to launch with instead, still lots of fun!

No, I didn't do a single thing to it! It was in a box of loose cars from a garage sale, and I never even tested it

Thanks for the offer but the little guys cannot follow the Christmas tree light sequence and staging requirements so they dont use the remote starters - to many red light matches occur with them.
I read that, I mean a smitty built, PVC based, manual, lexan doored, starter...
