So the list is set after the first race?

Excellent rulings!  Just a couple things I want to get absolutely straight.

First of all, am I right in understanding that this is going to be a series before a challenge event?  At first I didn't understand where the "points" aspect was coming from--now I think I do, I just want to be sure.  Also, does everyone get to send in four cars to the series?

  • I think you have it...It will be a series of races, first...to establish the Top 10...then, challenge races. Let's keep to two cars per — 72_Chevy_C10
  • person for the first race. — 72_Chevy_C10
  • That might be best; it could get large if it were four. Do they have to be two different castings or can they be the same? — FOTF
  • Also--in future series to shake things up, will it just be these ten or will others be added? — FOTF
  • They can be the same castings — 72_Chevy_C10
  • As for future series, I just think it would be good to run the Top 10, plus any challengers should be run on different tracks — 72_Chevy_C10
  • Is this saying that the new challengers would be included in the next points series? Sorry, not trying to be difficult--just specific. — FOTF
  • No problem FOTF, You can challenge race any time on my Drag Track...or every few months, I'll try to put together a series — 72_Chevy_C10
  • Thanks; and I understand that--but my question is, in a few months--when they get sent around to different tracks for the second time, after — FOTF
  • February--which cars will it be getting sent around? Again, this is the "shake things up" series after the original one. — FOTF

Okay, just to be clear...in February,  the cars will get sent to me, for the first time (whatever cars you will be sending, new builds, old builds, fast stockers, etc). I will start the series...running the cars on my orange track to start things off. I will then send the cars around to whoever can host, and they will be raced, just like a normal series. I will then host the last race of the series on my drag track and the points will be tallied...and the initial Top 10 will be determined.

The series will probably end in March, 2015. And, to give everyone time to build and gather more cars, we will wait for April to start the challenge races...you will be allowed 4 cars per month, per person starting at that time.

I hope that clears up any questions...I think this will a very cool deal. Basically, if you think you have a fast car, prove it! If it isn't fast enough, it won't make the list.

I know that I want to race against the best...it makes me a better competitor and it challenges me to try to build fast, cool cars.

Thanks Guys!

Chris
