RLD Outlawz

The Top ten list of the fastest cars built here at Redline Derby. This is going to mimic the reality show Street Outlaws. A list compiled of the top ten fastest cars built to race down the orange track. Races are by call outs just like in the show.

Rules & Restrictions

• Weight - 60 grams or less
• Size - standard, what we've been going by
• Cars per entrant - 1
• Brand, body style, year, make/model requirements - any brand. No extreme weird type of fantasy. Pretty much must resemble a car you will see on the streets. I will have the overall approval on the entrants so if you have questions just ask.
• Wheel limitations - any wheels 
• Stock cars allowed - modded only
• Must be drilled rivets - yes
• Dry lubes only
• Misc requirements - car must have a moniker.

Where to send your cars

Being that I moved and dont have a permanent house yet I will let everyone know where to send. My hopes are to have a place by the time the racing begins. Try an have your cars to me a week before the race.

Don't forget to print an ID card with your entry

TBD. All entries must be received by the host before. A week before the race.

Scoring and Winning

First we need to get the list started. I will have a bracket style race and the winner of the first bracket will be crowned the fastest RLD racer and earn the number one spot and the second place will be #2. I will have another bracket and the winner will be #'s 3 and 4. Once there are 6 racers left I will race all six, cause I have a six lane track. The winner of those 6 will get the next spot and I will continue it until the top 10 is complete. Once the list is completed anyone can request there cars back to do some tuning and modifying to challenge and try and climb up the list. You climb up the list by calling out the guy that is one spot ahead of you. Once you are done retuning and modifying your car you send it back to me with another 5 bucks to return to you for more tuning. You have to return the same car back to race. If you return a different car you will be off the list and have to start from the bottom (off the list). You can change wheels without being penalized just cant change castings. If you dont make the list or drop off the list you can call out anyone off the list that you want and have to win 2 races like that before you can challenge number 10 for his spot. There can be side call outs so for example if you are running a 5 spoke wheel you can call out any other 5 spoke car for bragging rights as long as there isnt a 5 spoke wheel type in the number 1 spot. The side call outs only go for wheel types and will not affect the positions on the list. Like in the show they have small tire and big tire cars. Once you are called out and I verify it you have ten days to get me your car back to race or you will be disqualified and will replace spots on the list as if you lost the race. If this happens twice then you will automatically drop to number 10 and if it happens after that no matter how high you climbed up the list you drop off the list and everytime after that it happens you will continue to drop off the list. 

Penalties

Any violation will eliminate you from the list and you have to fix it and start over from the botton. If you violate 3 times you have to build a whole new car and if you violate with that car twice then you have no chance to be on the list again! Everyone races fair!

Tracks & Dates

Harvest Dragway starting october 3rd. Hot wheels six lane track. 8ft drop with a 4 foot orange track extension. With the electronic finish line from the 6 lane. The track is a lot shorter because the show they only go 1/8 mile so I shortened my track as well.
