Same Old Stuff
Since I am relatively new to this hobby is it common to get into spells where most stores have the same old stuff? I went to Toys R Us and Target today and saw the same stuff. It's been that way the last few trips. Can't seem to find any FTE's.

If you are lucky you'll find a few original FTE cars in low turn over stores...think drug stores..dollar stores....or big lots. FTE2 cars can still be found at most local stores...also Check your local toy shows,and flea markets.
but if you just need FTE's Bernies hotwheels ....google it
Thanks for that info. I meant FTE 2's. none to be found. We're they made for 2013?

Having that same problem here. They keep restocking the shelves...so the pegs are full, but its the same stuff. I think summer is a slow time anyway.
IMO... try searching out a guy who was a collecting addict in '05-'06, many are dumping cars... may have many ftes...
collectors don't seem to care about ftes... I found a guy on ebay doing restorations...says he has cases from '05-'06...he will drill the cars send me the bases, I will remove the axles, i ship the bases and some $ back to him...
got to be a bunch more collectors out there
ask him, he will give you the cheapest shipping, or he'll hold them till you fill-up the order...

Good luck finding FTE's, they didn't make them this year. You definitely wont find them in stores unless its some seriously old stock from 2012. For the most part, you'll find the same stock everywhere. Sometimes Target or K-mart has some exclusive stuff but besides that, it'll be the same. I recommend just going to the stores once ever few weeks and seeing whats new cause by then the stock should be changed up.
As far as finding FTE's go, you'll have to go somewhere with old stock like Flea markets or Ollie's or something.
