Screen shots of the new Fantasy League

I've been tossing around the "big" 2012 game update quite a lot in threads so I figured it was time to share some progress, if for no other reason that to prove there is progress

I will be starting development soon as I think I have most of the layouts and designs complete enough. Please keep in mind these are only blueprints and don't show off real data or necessarily how the final thing will look...this is just a guide for me while I build. Even though this is all a rough sketch, I'd love to hear your feedback on what you see.

There is still a lot of work to be done but if all goes to plan then next year's game should be full of new challenges and fun.

Looking good! I'm excited to see it when its finished!

I like it.

I really like the stats portion of the player profile page.

On the Home page, are you getting away from using the "Fantasy League" name? I don't see it anywhere on the page. My only recommendation would be to make that red stripe across the page look more like a piece of track.

It all looks good, very clean and easy to read.

Good idea on the track thing. I'll see if I can make that look good.

I'm still a bit up in the air about using the "Fantasy League" name. On one hand, I like that it instantly tells people this is a game, but on the other hand, by declaring there is a fantasy league it suggests there is more to the site and outside of the forum there isn't much.

There are a good amount of blogs posts and how-to things, and they will still be highlighted and available but the game is really what we focus on so I think putting that more in front of people is key to the strategy. I think I'd rather have Redline Derby be a game with a blog, than a blog with a game.

But it's still something I'm struggling with...I see advantages to both methods.

I have played with naming, and your best bet is always something simple and straight forward.

I think the site definitely has enough content to establish it as a legitimate destination. Between the racing, the forums and the blogs... it's there. Especially when you start to support other events like the stuff Bryan and I come up with. Besides, the site is still young, give it time to grow.

Looks amazing Brian! Lot's more stats to geek out on. Love it! I like how you have me listed as Variation Jason's 'current' rival on his Player Profile.

Bracket Results Page: The 'extra' info like having your performance results next to the tournament winner's performance is awesome. I just can't get enough of comparisons -how you line up with the best.
Car Profile: I like the idea of having the visual aid of a graph to show rating trends throughout the weeks -a very telling tool to have. And I'm really thrilled that you have listed the tracks/locations next to each win/loss to indicate where the races were held. That will be most helpful when doing race-history homework.

Finally, I have to mention how cool the city-scape image is to indicate where up-coming races will be held. I hope to host many more races in Washington throughout the upcoming seasons. I'm getting antsy to race this next weekend. Hurry up and send me the brackets so I can get all the cars ready for the big race. I'll actually be holding the races on Friday which is also my birthday. How cool is that for a birthday present, huh?
