Season 6 Schedule and Prizes

I just scheduled the first tournaments of the new season which opens this Sunday! This season I'll doing a few 3-bracket weekends to help shorten the season and we'll also be racing on some off-site tracks so that should keep things a little more challenging. The official Redline Derby track is also getting a little tweak that I'll be posting about prior to Sunday's open tournaments.

If all goes to plan, the season will open this Sunday (8/27) and the championship race will be on October 15, an 8-week season. The circuit tournaments will be on JDC's 25-foot track the weekend of September 11 (3rd week) and then on the Austin Diecast Drags 50-foot track on October 1 (6th week).

I want to also remind everyone that player SeattleGreyy is organizing a forum-based fantasy league team challenge schedule. Check out that forum for details. Nobody really has to do anything as he'll be managing all the teams and numbers as a proof of concept for a feature that may get included in a future update.

There will be a small gift card to go buy some more cars! Jobe from Austin Diecast Drags has volunteered his creative services to create a trophy for this season's winner...can't wait to see what he comes up with.

I'm also planning to host a mail-in tournament during Season 6 that will include both custom and stock racing. More details and dates soon.

There will be one last season starting in late October before we go on winter break. Next Spring will be the debut of an all-new Fantasy League game with improved design and a few new features that should keep the game running better than ever. I will post some concept screen shots soon.
