A comment was left on the Redline Derby blog talking about a Hot Wheels database web site they were building. Haven't had much time to check it out real deep yet.

Doesn't work in IE. Had to look at in Chrome. I prefer IE.

Don't like that they want you to register to see additional info on the cars. No thanks, will pass when I can get the same info without worrying about being spammed or having my info sold.

Did two searches on the Hammer Head and Nerve Hammer. They are missing versions for both cars.

Maybe over time, they will get all castings as I respect anyone that trys to pull everything together and then continues to update it. Will stick with SouthTexasDiecast.

Hi IowaStockCars,

I appreciate you checking out my site!
I wanted to address your feedback to give some clarity on where we are and where we are going

IE Support
Increased support for IE is in development, I understand your concerns and a mobile friendly IE supported website is in the cards once some of the more advanced features are ironed out. It just didn't make it into the BETA Release as the focus was on the mobile platform for use "in the field".

Logging In
"The additional features" are the ability to add your own pictures to cars, Create your own lists, Add a car to the database (in development), and integration from secondary markets such as listing an item straight onto Ebay (in development) without having to fill-in common information and saving (non sensitive) preferences like return policy and what not. Allowing users to save preferences is the only way to maximize the experience beyond just a database. I opted to password protect certain features and will continue to optimize both sides of the website for both casual users who just want to see the database and those that desire more integration. I respect both types of users and welcome them!

Our Database
The Database has nearly 11,000 mainline cars and variations and I am now starting to add sets outside of the mainline cars. As well as continuing to list the remaining 2013 cars. I am happy to add any variation that might not exist, as they

At the end of the day, the goal is to create a web experience that can be valuable to any collector regardless of there outcome for collecting Hot Wheels.

After reading your feedback about selling of information. I am drafting a privacy policy that will assure people that no personal information will be sold, leaked, or spammed.

Thanks again for your feedback I continue to welcome it. That is how we will improve the experience for everyone.

Kind Regards and Happy Hunting!
