You know this had to eventually happen...
Now, too try to get a little speed out of it!
I never saw a TransAm race that had jumping for distance or loops..............
- Well, it was the '70's, maybe they just didn't have a camera in that part of the track! :) — 72_Chevy_C10
- Do you remember the esses at Riverside CA? The cars jumped from curb to curb. See TA jumps. — FatMike

Hi Guys,
I haven't forgotten about this series...but it will probably happen next spring. I want to have a little time to try to figure out a good layout for a track. And I hope that there will be a few people that will come up with cool tracks as well!
Anyway, I just wanted to stir the pot a little on this one...I'd like to see it happen...just not right away! :) Maybe after the Nascar race?
I can't wait for this one. I have an idea for a track. The schedule is good cause it'll take me some time to acquire everything and do some tests.

- Cool...I'm looking forward to it too. It should be good fun! — 72_Chevy_C10
Is it possible, if the track is long enough to time races with a stop watch?...anybody?
When I ran my first 'Series' race, I timed the the cars with a stop watch on my phone...and it seemed to work pretty well. But, you might want to take several runs and average the times (?)
Freezing rain forecast for ALL day ... Not going anywhere for awhile... Might as well butcher a cougar for the CURVES SERIES...
Hmmmm.... Not using a gasser base but the front axle will be mounted "down under" [Matt]...
8 deuces, FTEs...Weight under 40 Gs...?....
After a stop at the sloppy shop...the "Smitty Kitty".
Hey Smitty,
Yeah, it's kinda messy down here too!
I'm planning on keeping the Trans-Am cars pretty light...40 grams...fte's...and the usual sizes.
I'll put up the rules sometime soon....but, that's what they will be.
- thanks c10... can i cut a hole in the hood, the Dart's hood scoop is fatally ugly..? — model40fan
- have at it, Smitty! — 72_Chevy_C10
krighky... I found a cuda... it has the same ugly hood scoop as the f/ dart... hood hole ?
I'm tinkering with another car for this one tonight! :)
