Hi Baines,
I thought I would ask my question in open, so that may save any others questions.
I was only able to obtain the HW premium Mercedes. Could not find the Mbx in Aus.
Q1, In the rules you allow the Fender Flares to be modified (shaved) on the Merc. Was that rule specifically intended for the Mbx Version, or does that include the HW version?
Q2. The rules state one must use original diameter wheels and no wheel well hogging allowed. The HW Merc Premium runs 11.3mm real rider dia wheels. There is not an equivalent size in plastic, unless I get 12.5mm wheels machined down. The 12.5mm wheels do not fit as standard due to no clearance in the wheel wells. The 10.8mm small HW wheels would fit, but with a quarter mm less ground clearance, and a lot more room in the wheel well. What am I permitted to do with this casting in this area?
Q3. Given the car is already at 60gms, I could probably keep the interior. Do I still have to paint the windows black?

- Hi Marc, great questions and thanks for asking in the open to help others. If you use the HW Mercedes premium yes, you can open the wells and shave the sides. The Audi body is to be left as is. If you’re using the interior no need to paint the lens. Thanks for helping clarify things for everyone. — Live_Young_Diecast
