Builders Delight “Full!”

We wanted to give builders an almost open tournament to see who can build the best car. The only restriction is weight and color. No BLUE cars. 15 car limit at this point depending on demand.
I would not recommend wide body cars or low rider type cars/trucks, as they will not make the first turn. Any other questions, feel free to contact us. They have to be a licensed vehicle. NO FANTASY CARS/TRUCKS.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed
• 70g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entries per household
• No restrictions.
• Dry or wet lube. If using wet lube, use just enough. Any heavy greasers will be degreased.
• No Fantasy cars.
• Have to have cars by December 27th.
• Painted windows and gutted interior allowed.
• Clean paint jobs, no sloppy cars.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Wednesday, 12/27/2023. Racing is scheduled for Monday, 1/8/2024. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $8.00, or add return lable in box/package for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be held for future tournaments.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. The cars will be placed in the position they were in as they finished the lap or how they stopped on the track. A driver will move on in the bracket only when it wins the last race of a six-lap race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be according to qualifying.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 2g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, we will contact the builder.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
