How fast is it compared to a Johnny Lightning BWF '69 Camaro?

Yesterday...the BWF Camaro had it by a good car length. It made the 37 ft run in 2.595, and the BWF's was 2.583. But that was only one race it posted that fast of time. Most of the other times the HEAVY WEIGHT ran 2.645...still quite fast for the day!

I did some work today on my second heavy weight...now I'm waiting for it the epoxy to dry...I'm starting to feel like Dr. Frankenstein

This type of car is perfect for loading up with super weight. Notice, I was able to flatten out some of the lead and place in in the lower frame of the car. I also Epoxy the axles in place to keep them from wobbling around.

Secondly, I started placing the lead weights inside the car...I had to arrange them precisely to get the maximum weight gain desired.

Thirdly, I had to Epoxy the car back together after loading it up with the lead weight. I had to rig a system to hold the body together so that the Epoxy would dry.

Lastly the weight results

Next will be getting it onto the track for some testing against its little brother.

Preacher, you might try reducing the weight by maybe 25 grams at a time to see if it speeds up.

Just glued them in place to keep from wobbling around...they were already good rollers.
