HUB POSTING for Maniac's Mustang Roundup (FULL)

This is the HUB/Info. posting.   The MODIFIED & STOCK classes with each have an individual event posting - for STATS tracking purposes.

Celebrating Mustang's 60th Anniversary - Maniac's Mustang Roundup @ Dutch Clutch Dragway.

24 entrants - 1 stock & 1 modified required per entrant

STOCK -
50g maximum
Retail axles & wheels - NPA/FTE ok

Rules & restrictions

• Stock and modified entries allowed 
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 cars - 1 of each class per household
• $5 entrance fee per Racer (not per car)

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 7/5/2025. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 7/12/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $10 for return shipping - International racers we will work out return shipping if you want your entries returned.  Entries not getting returned will be kept at the track or given to the winner - please designated your choice on your RedlineDerby form.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Racing will be on the DUTCH CLUTCH DRAGWAY. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins 2 of 3 races. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be order of arrival at the track. First 8 to arrive get a 1st round bye. First round start lane will be odd/even based on arrival order of odd/even (I.E. - 12th to arrive is an even # so starts in lane 2).

Green light on Slanman timer calls the winner. Times will be shown but not recorded.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
