The IDRL is the largest Diecast Racing Event to date.  The Theme is 60 Years of Muscle/Sports Car from anywhere in the world (1963 - Present).  Bring your A game and may the Best Driver win!  Prizes are provided by Meekin, Bregging rights are your own, and Marcus Firegone is planning the event and helping to cover the cost of the mailing between host tracks.

We are covering 3 Countries and 7+ Tracks with 32+ Cars/Drivers.  The top 32 cars will qualify for a shot at the Sportsman Cup World Tour, while the remaining cars will be entered in a special Endurance Cup event.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, April 2, 2023. We are on a tight timeline. Racing is scheduled throughout the Spring/Summer/Fall.  The event will be posted on the individual Host Track's YouTube Channels, a Playlist will be provided on the IDRL YouTube Channel to make it easier to follow.  We will also keep you up-to-date in the IDRL Facebook Group.

Please get your cars ready by mid-March and in the mail.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Entry Fee:  $10 (per Car/Driver entry).  This will help to cover some of the mailing cost between Host Tracks.

Please provide a Team Name, Driver Name and unique Car Number (up to 3 digits).  See reserved numbers here: https://www.idrleague.com/builder

If you are in the USA, you will be mailing your cars either to Meekin (US) or Marcus Firegone (Canada).

(The Qualifying & 1st Race Event is in Canada at Marcus Firgone's Snow Valley East track.  Meekin will be collecting cars from the US and sending them in bulk to Canada.)

If you are International or in Canada, you will be mailing your cars directly to Marcus Firegone in Canada.

Please notify IDRL/Marcus Firegone when you are sending your entry in and to whom.

Cars will be Inspected and Qualify in Canada.

< Cars will not be returned to their owners.  We plan on leaving the cars at the last track that they participate on.  So they will be scattered between tracks.  If you enter another event by the track host where your car is, you may be able to have your IDRL car included when you get your other car back. >

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

Any such issues with be discussed with the car owner and we will do everything humanly possible to resolve the issues.

The 0utsiders would like a shot at this.

you want a muscle or sports car, we'll deliver.

We'll have Number 0, of course.

bring on the world wide streets. May the best street car win it all.

  • Welcome. Unfortunately 0 and 00 are taken. I can see that 0 would be important to you. Maybe consider a 0 and letter? 0X? — TheIDRL
  • Driver's Name? — TheIDRL
  • Number 0 taken? Oh noes.. — Underdogs_Unleashed
  • I don’t know how number 0 was taken when we were one of the first THREE responses but…aight, whatever then…fine. We’ll do number 101. Driver name: Shu. — 0utsiders_Street_Racing
  • Ah! IDRL assumed I'll be in and they kept #0 for me since I always go by that number. Sorry, apparently I was the one who stole it from you — Underdogs_Unleashed
  • Yeah, whatever. Personally I don’t see the reason but aight I guess. If I CAN I’d like to run the number 000 instead. — 0utsiders_Street_Racing
  • As described in this tournament posting, numbers are already reserved as per the IDRL Website for previous participants in previous races that we have run. — TheIDRL
  • With that said, the previous owner of #0 is willing to give it up for this race. So I will give you the #0. Thanks again for joining — TheIDRL
  • Man, respect to U_U for that fr. That’s respect. Thanks. I’m fine with 000 though. What matters to my crew is somehow the 0 is repped in our crews rides, as it’s part of the name. Ultimately the organizers call. — 0utsiders_Street_Racing
  • Yeah, I'll let you use #0 this time. You posted first, weren't aware of numbers passing on to a driver between races, and to be honest I have a few #9 decals on hands I'd like to use hahah — Underdogs_Unleashed
  • Aight, I’ll accept that. Word. Again, you got my respect man. ‘Preciate. — 0utsiders_Street_Racing
  • Zero has been my number since day one in diecast racing. It has a special meaning to me too. I'm pretty sure we could find a way to share it somehow in the future. Maybe discuss in Messenger or something? :) — Underdogs_Unleashed
  • Yeah, I’d be down. Again, ‘preciate. — 0utsiders_Street_Racing
  • Awesome, thanks guys — TheIDRL

Let's do this...

if my name is gonna be Hijacked for KoTM I'm gonna have to make myself unmistakable for the rest of the DICAST community...
