....you could also do a Redline Revival if you choose if the casting is one listed above and some have been produced very often since 1972.... and there is plenty to choose from since then as well....almost an endless bunch of choices....Gov'ner...Country Club Muscle (CCM)...Formul8r...Way 2 Fast just to name a few.

Someone from The Legion of Speed will be racing this Speed Slayer.

The only eight (8) car like castings that I will allow are the Rodger Dodger, Blvd Bruiser, Shoe Box, Fast Fish, CCM, Gov'ner, Riveted and Dixie Challenger....any questions ask here or PM me.

Also, no theme type cars like Marvel, DC or Star Wars allowed...plenty of great castings to choose from out there and most likely sitting in a box in your house :)

Bump....

Alright race fan's...Tobacco Road beckons once again and it's going seamless and it will be faster...this should be a fun race, so get in those workshops and create some  speed!!!!

Going to track down a few of these or at least a couple for the prize pool...love this Way 2 Fast!!!

This will be a complete teardown....you have to cut axel channels in with a Dremmel to refit the car with some new axels/wheels....this will be the second Torero that I've done. Then get some weight in there to bring it up close to the 57g class. It will be getting a Race Aces package off a Trak-Tune....going to be a fun build!!!

I have a Mantis and a Crew Car for stock entries, plus 2 undetermined mods I'm sending.  Question is how do I graphite the stock entries? These have the 2pc wheels, not bushings  I believe they come apart but I don't know how and I don't want to damage them

Sounds like you have the old cap style wheel...they can be pried apart at the inside wheel seam, but it can be risky.

Thanks for the video. That's a neat trick. But how do you separate them still on the car?  With these being stock entries I wasn't taking the chassis apart.

So, not wanting to damage the original wheels of modify these I.ve decided on another casting. I believe you said the Sho Box is acceptable, so as long as it is my team will consists of 4 Shoe Boxes. I have 2 white and 2 yellow with the flames. One of each color will be stock and one of each color modified.

This is one of my all time favorite Hot Wheels cars. Looking forward to this race.

Yes, the Shoebox is acceptable...I wanted to include some car type castings...C10's gonna need that Roger Dodger loop hole:)
