Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. Time trials will determine the seeding, 1 thru 8. Seeds 1/2/7/8 will race 8-rounds. The top 2 in scoring will move to the finals. Seeds 3/4/5/6 will race 8-rounds. The top 2 in scoring will move to the finals. The finals will be an 8-round race. There will be bonus point opportunities. TBD.

The car (ahem... TRAIN) that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Penalties/DNF

Trains are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a train fails or breaks, the host will contact the builder and attempt to reconcile the issue so they can continue racing. TBD whether or not this action disqualifies the builder from winning,

Prizes

Winner will receive a prize pack from J and J's Treasures Diecast store here in Wichita, KS. Exact prize TBD.
