The Second Annual Bone Shaker Brawl

The 2nd annual Bone Shaker Brawl is coming back to BlueLine Racing but this year it will be a little different. We are doing modified Bone Shakers with a maximum 60g weight limit. They will also be racing on an upcoming new 16’ Orange Track that should be in the track directory by August.

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• Original Bone Shaker Dimensions
• Limit 1 entry per household 
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles. Axel tubes allowed.
• Dry lube only
• Body must remain original Bone Shaker Design and dimensions. Truck bed can be filled, windows can be filled. But weight must remain within the bed. Otherwise no body modifications. You can change wheel size as long as it doesn't change the look of the vehicle. Can't shorten or remove side pipes. Weight must be within the vehicle. No exterior weight.
• Halloween Tampos and Paint encouraged but not required. If your paint job stands out I may send you something.
• Please no plastic cases or any other packaging that you expect to be returned. Won't be possible to track and store that number of cases.
• Wont chase return shipping fees on this one. Any car without return shipping will be sent to the winner.

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 10/22/2021. Racing is scheduled for Wednesday, 10/27/2021. Results will be posted on Halloween night.

Race format and scoring

This will be a timed event. Two runs in each lane .Top half of times in each round will advance until only one car is standing. Ties will be broken by the cars second time.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
