Tweezer Holder

Stoopid_Fish_Racing Thursday, 10/3/2024

One good thing about being in Florida for a bit is I can catch up on some 3D printing. I bought some resin printed 1/64 figures and needed a fixture to hold the tweezers as I paint them. A few minutes using Tinker Cad and I knocked out this holder. Took longer to print the design than create it but looks like it will be just the ticket!

You're full of talents I guess.

This is very cool!  What Creality are you using? Eric

Good idea...I used Tinkercad to model the axle jig.

My Ender3 is collecting dust...the calibration was killing me. My printing wasn't very frequent and everytime I wanted to print I'd have to recalibrate which took forever...so frustrating. I have pretty much given up on it unless there's something I *really* want to print.

  • I have found that it is far easier to calibrate "on the fly" once everything is set correctly. The paper method never worked for me other than getting it close. I will tweak the bed leveling wheels after I start the print and the raft starts printing. You can look at those layers and adjust to get what you need. — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
  • I did the same...paper to get close then adjust but the test layers I'd do to adjust rarely lined up with the actual model I was printing. Just frustrating and I'm not going to babysit each print. — redlinederby
  • yeah, I get that... if it is not able to run a print without issues it can be very frustrating... — Stoopid_Fish_Racing
