‘23 Rip n Race Session 4 *FULL*

Session 4 Features the “stock” Carbonator castings. 24 entries from all over the world are on the hunt for the best Carbonator. The course is under construction and will feature several types of track.

Rules & restrictions

• Stock entries only
• 57g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 2 entries per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• N O lube

Dates & deadlines

All entries have been received. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 11/26/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Entries are sent at the beginning of the Sessions.

The next Session will be in 2024..... It'll be posted around Christmas  

The casting types will be announced and they will be stock and unmodified without lube. The winner of each event will win alll the castings from the race and a special one sent from Big Poppy   

Track

Race format and scoring

This will be a double-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races in the same heat. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

Cars that are modified will be disqualified and not allowed to race. NO LUBE is allowed, but they stock without modification. They may be road tested and sent without a blister. But they will be inspected for tampering.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will not race.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

All the Carbonator castings and an additional casting from Big Poppy.
