Any production muscle car from 1994 to present , must be a real production car , v8 and rear wheel drive

Rules & restrictions

• Modified entries only
• 60g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entry  per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Dry lube only
• 1994 to present American Modern Muscle Cars
• NO TRUCKS
• Maximum weight 60 grams , all weights must be concealed inside of car
• Stock body lines , no filling or wheel hogging
• Painted windows are ok , no closing or filling side windows (if the car came with open windows should stay that way
• Custom paint encouraged but not required
• Any questions regarding body qualifications please ask
• Black wheels only 
• No cones Skinnies allowed only in front
• No tube axles
• Sanding tires for imperfections allowed but not for conning 
• Dry lube only

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Sunday, 2/23/2025. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 3/2/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Track

Racing will be on the Rincon Strip at LA Caridura Racetrack. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

1 Cars will have a qualifying round to sort out the field
2 They will compete against next one for choosing bracket A or B
3 Cars will race against next one for advancing to next round (elimination process starts here)
4 Process will continue until we declare a winner
5 in case of an uneven field no bye runs will be granted, host will fill the space with a stock vehicle for that run
6 Any doubt please ask

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
