Been wanting to try your track! Count me in! Just need to decide on a ride...
Rule Question:
1. It is not clear in the rules to me, and my perception could be wrong. Can people hog out wheel wells to fit bigger diameter wheels, or are we sticking to original diameter wheels?
2. Do the 4 builds have to be the same weight? (I imagine if I was testing the set ups they would be, but?)
3. Fixed axles. How fixed is fixed? People use many different fixing methods now days. JB weld yep thats fixed, E6000, to softer expoxies. All fixed in that the axles dont move sideways (much) but still may have some up/down movement.
Cheers
- Do what ever to the wheel arches. JB or equivalent only. Cars can be different weights.Anything else will melt. — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
In with the Nissan Maxima Drift Car.
We normally don't collect more than 1 or two of a casting so it was interesting trying to figure out how many we had of each one!
Can you do wheel swaps?
Also, which date do cars have to be at the track???

Before October 31st 2026
or before 5/23/2027
- I think October. the other date is for the grand finals video — ManiacMotorsports
- By Halloween this year. Earlier the better. Sorry about the confusion. — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
- understood and looking forward to it — GBURacing
I'm in...let's go for the Nissan Leaf NISMO
What was the weight of the winners of the last tournament?
- 106gs — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
- Wow...idk if I can get that much weight....and the shipping cost ouch...lol — CabbagePatch
- Yea it cost us 100.00 to send 8 cars to the teams tournament. — IcemanRacing
- My prize pack for the you choose was $80AUD, so probs $63USD. That was 1.2kg — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
- The hard part is getting that much weight inside the car while leaving the axle forks intact. Mine will likely be around the 90-95g mark. — Dog_Squab_Racing
Audi S4 Quattro
Put me down for a team. Volvo 240 Drift Wagon. This sounds like a good time!
- The dog Volvo! Love it...and Welcome to the Mountain. — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
- on the loose axles for the suspension is that for the loose axles on the 3 cars that have a loose axle or only on the one with both axles loose? — Partsman73
- And can they all be different colors on the cars or all the same color? — Partsman73
- All cars that have loose can be played with for suspension. Cars can be all different. Only the right number on the right car is imperative. — Bathurst_Diecast_Racing
