This is a mod race. Stocks not recommended but allowed. Only 3 castings allowed:

69 Chevelle
Not your typical muscle car castings. Modding prowess will be on full display for this event.

- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 2 entries per household

Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Friday, 8/23/2024. Racing is scheduled after that date. Videos will be released on Low Country Diecast Racing League YouTube channel. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Track
This race will be on Boomtown Raceway. 4 lanes 25' long. 4 laps per car per round, top AVERAGES move on the next round.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of .99g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

- Thanks Marc! I'm trying all new things on this one. Extended the wheelbase. Only riding on three wheels while riding the rail. Since it's a 50 gram weight limit I shaved weight from the body in order to put it where I want it. Polishing up to 12,000 grit instead of 3000. It's going, ok. It turns a bit too much into the rail slowing it down a bit, but I'm working on another the next couple of days so we'll see which one is faster! — RayRaySugar

How the hell does everyone have at least one version of all 3 cars? That's impossible
Also, they're all lowriders, they won't work on drag strips!
- First of all, you don’t have to have all 3. Those are just the 3 castings allowed. Anyone can build and enter as many or as few as they’d like. Secondly, it’s a modified entry race. Ride heights can be changed. Thirdly, you don’t have to enter. And lastly, I’ve been hosting races for quite a few years and have never heard of you so I doubt you have the ability to build a contender anyway. Feel free to try, you are more than welcome to face off against the fastest builders in the world. — FPD_Racing
