Best of the Basics Stock Race

So....it was suggested that I do a mainline event that everyone could get in on...so....Lets Go Back to the Basics!!! Get your fastest mainline vehicle from 2024 or 2025 (55g or under should cover it) and Lets Roll em down MileHighRaceway!!!
And....for the MODIFIED RACE
Racers choice of the Country Club Muscle.....the Cadillac v16.... the Hi-Roller 2....or the GOVNR. 70g
Rules & restrictions
- Stock and modified entries allowed
- Stock 55g Mod 70g maximum weight
- 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
- Limit 1 stock ......MOD no Limit entries per household
- Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
- Don't Soul Glow on my track lol
- No bearings no stretching this time...otherwise make it fast
- No pertruding foreign objects pass the start gate
- Please include a $5.00 per car entry fee and $10.00 domestic and pay pal me at least what it cost you from overseas would be greatly appreciated.
Dates & deadlines
All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 8/9/2025. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 8/16/2025. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $10.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.
Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry
Track
Race format and scoring
This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket with the fastest time after lane swap. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.
The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.
Bracket seeding will be seeded......THE MODIFIED RACE WILL BE A TIMED EVENT. Everyone will race....the field will be cut in half each round until we have a winner.
Penalties/DNF
Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.
If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify to get out of the 1st round. Offending cars will still race.
Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins.

Just a question to clarify what goes and don't go for a stock entry. I suppose adding weight to bring it up to 55g is not tolerated, but do I understand that replacing wheels and axles is ok?
- For the stock entry you don't open the car but you can add lube of your choice as long as it is not dripping on the track. — Zizzer_Prime
