BowTie Beatdown
To all participating in the Bowtie Beatdown, as of 8-25 I've only received 23 out of 32 cars. I will be accepting cars up to the 31 of August. If your car has not arrived by the 31st of August you will be excluded from tournament.
Any cars arriving after August 31 I will video your car going down the track for you to see. It will be shipped back the following week.
Hopefully the remaining 9 cars will arrive this week so I can proceed with 2 full brackets of 16. I have only heard from 1 person that has dropped out. I had 2 extra teams sign up for tournament in case of this situation.
In the case of 32 cars not showing up I am going to shrink the tournament to 24 cars
If tournament changes to 24 cars I will run every car individually for a time. The fastest 24 cars will be in. That is the only way I see fair. If a timed lap is necessary I will record that lap for all to see. If anyone has problems with this please reach out so we can discuss other options. If I don't get any opinions on this I will assume everyone is OK with my decision.

26 cars I have. Still waiting on a few more to get here. But thought everyone should see their car in action. Will post video of cars I have not received yet. Will also post everyone's time on a chart.

BowTie Beatdown.
As of August 29th at midnight I have received a total of 29 cars. 2 cars have been eliminated from race because they do not make it down the track. That leaves me with 27 cars. Instead of the time trial elimination idea I've came up with another solution.
I was fortunate enough to have cars donated to Jungle Falls Raceway from multiple builders. One builder happen to have sent me 8 corvettes. With that being said I will be adding 4 corvettes and one 57 Chevy to BowTie Beatdown.
Those 4 corvettes will be running against each other in last group of 2nd bracket. By adding these cars the Bowtie Beatdown will be 32 cars total. 2 full brackets of 16 cars each. Only 2 cars from each bracket will move on to finals.
If anonymous corvettes happen to be in final four I will remove that car and pick a random losing car from a hat to be in the finals.
I want everyone who sent a car in to have a chance. Excluding the 2 cars that couldn't finish a solo lap. I believe it's only fair to put all cars that were sent in (and finished a lap) a chance to race.
If anymore cars happen to show up by the 31st they will be added and anonymous corvette will be removed. I'm doing my best to make it as fair as I can to all participating.
Any objections please reach out so we can discuss another option. It's getting close to race day and I'm super excited to get started. Sorry for all changes recently but hosting a race isn't always easy.

Time trial results for anyone interested. Cars will be racing in order of arrival not based off of times.
Plan is to record and post videos starting 9-1. I will do my best not to keep you waiting to long between videos. I'm a one man operation and it takes some time to get everything together.
