Yes, those are leveling rods. They might be a little long but in most cases they will do the trick.I should have some more pics soon. I might have to add a joke car in the scenery. We hope to get it all in a regular size pickup truck. Next is going seamless; not looking forward to it. Until the Stores within my area get more 24' inch track I'm going normal orange for this track. Until we find a good location we are holding on to building a down hill street track.

Here's a big question for the community; What camreas does everyone use ? 3D MakerBot to the little guys. Is buying a Go Pro worth it. Or stay with the cell phone?

Cameras, I think a lot use their phones. I have a 5 camera Swan system I never used that was for home security. I am going to try that when I get to that point. I have old phones too sitting around I might try if that don't work. I also picked up a 'car camera', what I am calling it. I am going to strap it to a r/c car to use on the track to give a bird's eye view of the track. :-) I am not a video guy, and this will be new territory to explore. — RacerGnome

I have 2 gopros, and a galaxy tablet and an old phone.

gopros rock as my stationary action ones.

but my early vids sucked because I didn't realize how much light you need, along with cameras

I use 4-6 LED versions of a 500 watt spotlight. they run pretty cool

So our grand opening was at a carnival/ "Boo Bash on the 29 of October. It was poring rain. We seem to get it set up with out a hitch. 2 lanes drag strip with a Hot Wheels 6 lane finish line. We went through 7 boxes of 72 (504). I wish we had permission to the show the craziness. 1200 +\- people came through with over 500 kids getting and racing cars. (Rip&Race) Next time more lanes. Here's a few pictures of the finished track. We are upping the lanes and trying to find help on the finish line becoming digital. Debating on going to Spool Heads. If anyone has code for a Arduino 4 lane and/or 6 lane; please send me a email Jscroggs30@gmail.com Thank for your comments and suggestions.

2020 Rated Rookie

I think it's great that you're doing in-person events. Curious how you ran the event. Did kids come through a line and race the next kid in line or was there a structured race where you tried to find the fastest car?
