Camera support stand... PVC.

I drilled and tapped a 1/2" pvc end cap to 1/4" - 20, installed the screw and an outside jam-nut, glued the cap to a 4" section of the tubing... drilled and tapped a 1/4" - 20 hole into my $5. trypod's surface plate, made another 1/4" - 20 screwed cap, screwed it down onto the tripod, cut [2] 1/2" long slots into the open end of the 4" tube to make taking it on and off easier.... this will also save the threads on the camera when trying to screw it on upside down, screw the camera to the tubing, plug it in, pop it off when done filming.
