Thanks to those who signed up for this event - Doing some pre-race video testing as I'd like to do a enhanced video for this - but if necessary I'll go old school simple video.
Well its the usual somethings going right others going wrong - got the video editor working - then the timing gate starts acting up. All is working and races will happen today.
Yeah here's the driver intros and as you can see the fantasy cars are in the front and the two real cars are in the back. The Driftsta is the lightest at just under 30g so I gave it the pole. There's a bit of nervous talk about Easter Bunnies and accidents but we're looking into and we'll get to the bottom if we have to go below the bottom.
Just wanted to jump in and say the races have been ran (some decent lap times and some pile-ups) and video work is taking longer than planned - still need to run the final Tour de Crash. I'll post some footage and sadly our investigations show what appears to be be a depraved Easter Bunny massacre. Oh my. Entire race shoud post this weekend
Editing is wrapping up today and Saturday - and yes there was a massacre - some wabbits were whacked. Why would some one do such dastardly things .... viewers should be cautious
What a week I've had and I just wanted to give a quick update - For whatever reason my brain was telling me that the deadline for French Touch Racing was 4-23. So along with this video work I was pounding day and night to get 2 cars ready and in the mail to get thru customs. And of course nothing was going well including a botched paint job. It was literally last night I discovered the deadline is 5/23 for French Touch. So that's out of the way - now I can focus on the race videos AND I've decided to move from Apple iMovie to CapCut. Which is going pretty well except CapCut (iPad version) cannot directly import video which is how iMovie works. So I am struggling with getting finish line video imported - its just messy. Anyway I know this is just a micky mouse u-Pick race but I want to do it right. Below is where I'm at on the CapCut - still working to complete late today. Stay tuned.
All right here is race number one - thanks for your patience - not happy with the transitions so we'll see what I can do in race 2.
Race number 2 is up and there is a bit of trouble brewing for two of the teams - but don't worry points can be made up in the Tour de Crash

All right race 4 is in the books and it was a rough one - but now the Thunderdome portion is over and for final points we move to the Tour de Crash and see who is the actual top dog. Then we'll draw names for prizes.
