Rules & restrictions

• 0g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 3 entries per household
• Anything
• Any - if wet, please be sure that it's not going to make a mess anywhere. If can't promise, I would recommend a Dry Lube then.

Rat-Rod Definition (Dictionary.com)

A rat rod is a custom car with a deliberately worn-down, unfinished appearance, typically lacking paint, showing rust, and made from cheap or cast-off parts.
Rat rod is a variant of hot rod, a term for a custom car, usually modified from a classic car for greater speed, that has been in use since at least the 1940s.

This race was originally going to be on Valentine's Day, however due to finances and medical things, plus life in and unto it's self, it was delayed.

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins two races in a row. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random.

Penalties/DNF

So there are only 2 Restrictions, It has to look like a Rat-Rod, and Cars have to fit the track. Being that we are running opened-wheeled car, I can not promise your car's axle(s) won't get bent during the racing. They can take a little bit of a beating, but with speed, weight, and flight (off the track), who knows what will happen. If there does become an issue, I will contact you before anything is done.
