(FIN) Underground King [MAIL IN STREET RACING]

Attention diecast car collectors! Shift into high gear and join us at the Underground King Diecast Car Racing event. Bring your best machine, dominate the track, and be the last one standing to be crowned the King of Underground!

The Underground King is inspired by underground racing scenes such as Mid Night club, Need For Speed and Fast and Furious ( 1 to 3 ;) ).

Rules & Restrictions

RULES APPLY TO BOTH CATEGORIES

• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Decals for stock cars allowed. Must not cover more than 75% of the car.
• Cosmetic upgrades allowed. Must not exceed max dimensions

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host on or before 10/15/2023. Racing is scheduled for Sunday, 10/22/2023. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

How to enter

Contact the tournament host to get the shipping address for entry.

For return shipping, contact the event host if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be kept for other purposes.

Entry Fee is PHP 50 or roughly 1.00 USD

Please include at least 5.00 USD for handling fees by the mail.

About 20ft of drag track. Built using orange track and Crash Racers straights.

Race format and scoring

This will be a single-elimination tournament. A car will move on in the bracket only when it wins. Best-of-three races. Cars will alternate lanes between each race.

The car that wins the final race will be declared the winner. Best-of-5 races. Race host has final decision in all races.

Bracket seeding will be random. (Per category)

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
