Ford GT-40 Qualifiers (FULL)

The new start gate has shipped and installation is underway. As soon as it’s fully installed and tested, GT Racing will resume. Thank you all for your patience.

Additionally, Le Mans has been taken over by Boss Racing. We’ll be partnering with them for the final event, where the cars will race Pikes Peak as well as Boss Racing’s track—one big, fun collaboration to wrap it up.

Old News:

All drivers went through a time trial and the top 6 drivers have been selected to race in the Lemans tournament: 

Lemans: Dog Squab / Craigster Sr. / Puff / Zamak Dr. Z / Jac Racing / Chase Family 

The bottom 4 drivers have been eliminated: Greg B Warren Clutch / Big Chuck Team / Atomic Bomb / King Jester

The remaining 16 drivers will compete in the GT40 race (next episode at epvideos)

Rules & restrictions

If you are already participating in the LeMans Team Tournament you may not enter this race, you know who you are. For everyone else:

• 32 Spots available, Comment to reserve your place, First come first serve.
• This is a time period race set in the 1960s
• Limited to 1 single casting, No exceptions. See Picture. No spoilers allowed.
• Cars must be weighted.
• Paint: Stock or Custom, duplicate stock paints allowed.
• Custom paint must reflect the time period of the LeMans 1960s race cars / Solid Colors
• Stock paint must reflect the time period of the LeMans 1960s race cars / Select carefully
• Decals limited to diagonal racing stripes ONLY / Do not add custom numbers. If you wish to add a different decal please ask first. Existing stock paint numbers may remain on the cars. 
• 75g maximum weight
• 3.25in. long x 2in. tall x 1.25in. wide
• Limit 1 entry per household
• Retail axles and wheels only. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
• Any Lube that doesn't leak
• NO Tungsten Putty
• No Entry Fee
• No Body Modifications

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before 1/15/2025. Racing is scheduled for TBD. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

 Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for racing.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.
