Here it is, the first diecast drag racing event over at Biff's Place, the Official Drag Complex of Commotion Diecast!

This race will feature the Hot Wheels Grand Cross casting.

There will only be 32 spots available for this event.

$8 return shipping, if you would like your car back.

Any cars that doesnt have return shipping money will go to the winner as apart of the prizes.

Please send a entry slip of some sort with your name, team name, and return shipping info. The cars are due by January 15th (must be at the track).

Rules for this event goes as followed:

Grand Cross
70g weight with a 1g grace
weight must be concealed inside the car
No bearings
Any wheel and axle
Tubes allowed
No stretching
Filling of the windows is allowed

Rules & restrictions

  • Any wheel and axle. FTE/NPA axles allowed.
  • 70g with 1g over allowance
  • No stretching
  • No bearings
  • Window filling allowed
  • Weight must be concealed inside car

Dates & deadlines

All entries must be received by the host before Saturday, 1/8/2022. Racing is scheduled for Saturday, 1/15/2022. Results will be posted on or after that date as is convenient for the host.

Include at least $5.00 for return shipping if you want your entries back. Entries not getting returned will be given to the winner as part of the prize.

Include a Race Entry ID slip with your entry

Racing will be on the Biff’s Place. View track profile and specs

Race format and scoring

32 cars, first come, first served.

Drag racing format.

Penalties/DNF

Cars are given a grace of 1g over the stated weight limit to account for variance in scales.

If a car fails to meet any of the restrictions listed above, the car will not qualify for victory. Offending cars will still race. Finish position and any prize will go to the runner-up in the case of the penalty car winning.

Cars that fail to run or fit on the track, or that happen to break during racing, will forfeit their matches. Cars that arrive broken will attempt to be minimally repaired before the racing begins. Cars that break during racing will not be repaired or replaced.

This sounds fun and your track looks awesome.  I would love to sign up.   I sent a 'join' request to Diecast Drag Racing.  I think thats the right group.
